Research Projects (4th and 5th grade)

These video tutorials are for 4th and 5th grade students working on their library specialist research projects.

Begin with the first video and then do what is demonstrated in the video before going on to the next video. Work your way through the videos and steps.

1. Taking notes from your first source and avoiding plagiarism.
When you are done with the first video, be sure to take notes from your first source before moving on to the next video.




​2. Taking notes from your second and third sources of information.
When you finish watching the second video, be sure to take notes from your second and third sources of information before moving on to the next video.



3. Saving pictures for your PowerPoint.
When you are done with this video, make sure you save three pictures to your student drive before moving on to the next video.



​4. Starting your PowerPoint
​Before you watch this video, make sure you have notes from three sources and that you have saved at least three pictures to your student drive.




​5. Creating your Early Years slide.
​Move onto this video after you have created your title slide and saved the presentation to your student drive.



6. Creating your Adult Years slide and your Claim to Fame slide.



7. Creating your works cited slide. 



8. Changing the look and style of your PowerPoint.
