About Us

Helen Haller Elementary was named after one of our former teachers and Principal.  Originally built in the early 1970's as a Grade 5 & 6 Intermediate school, it was transformed into the "New" elementary school with the addition of the satellite classrooms or pods in 1979.  Helen Haller has a dedicated staff of 76 which includes 22 classroom teachers, 23 Specialists/support, 18 Paraeducators, 7 Office Staff, 2 Lunchroom Personnel and 4 Custodians.  We currently have about 530 students attending.
